FSA is in charge of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – one of the most crucial parts of the financial aid process. Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) is a state of Illinois organization that is tasked with distributing the Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant; providing educational resources, seminars, and more; and helping students and their caregivers with completing the necessary financial aid documents in order to be eligible for federal, state, and college-specific financial aid.
