District 207 College Night is October 1st at Maine South
Maine Township High School District 207 will again host one of the largest college nights in Illinois on Wednesday, October 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Maine South High School. This event is for all District 207 parents and students, from Maine East, Maine South and Maine West.
More than 200 colleges and universities have asked to be represented on October 1, either by alumni or admissions personnel. They can answer questions about curriculum offerings, admissions, tuition, housing, and campus life. Many will bring applications or provide an opportunity to sign up on their mailing lists. Attendees are free to move from table to table or room to room to talk to individual representatives throughout the evening.
In addition, a financial aid administrator will present two Financial Aid Informationsessions - one at 6:45 p.m. and another at 7:45 p.m. - in the Auditorium.
Note: There will be a separate Spanish speaking financial aid presentation available at 6:45 p.m.
Transition to College for Special Needs Students session will be conducted from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium. Click here for details of this session.
Maine South is located at 1131 South Dee Road in Park Ridge. To make the most of the evening, students should plan ahead: car pool, take notes, bring a parent or friend, and visit at least two colleges that are new to you. Here is a list of the colleges planning to attend; but last minute cancellations and additions may develop and are not reflected on this list. Pick up a program at College Night.
