SAT for all Juniors: April 10

On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, the three Maine 207 schools (Maine East, Maine South and Maine West) will administer the state-funded SAT to all juniors. Illinois state law (Section 2-3.64a-5 of the School Code) requires a student to participate in the SAT to receive a regular high school diploma. All colleges and universities accept the SAT as an official entrance exam.

Start Time: 7:45 a.m.
Dismissal: 12:45 p.m. (approximate)

*dismissal time will vary for students receiving approved testing accommodations.

*If you qualify for STAMP testing, you will be notified by the Foreign Language Department.


Because juniors will need to report to testing rooms no later than 7:45 a.m., PACE Bus Service will follow a regular morning bus schedule.  

Afternoon PACE bus pick-up will be at 1:00 p.m.
Breakfast will be available from 7:00 am-7:45 am. 
Lunch will not be served.

In preparation for the SAT Test, students/parents may choose to enroll in Khan Academy.

What is the Khan Academy? Khan Academy is an online SAT study and practice test resource which will be free for all Maine 207 students. Student performance on PSAT assessments is used to create personalized instruction in Khan Academy to help fill knowledge gaps. Official SAT Practice from College Board & Khan Academy
