Q: How do I become a TA?

A: At the beginning of each semester, your teacher needs to fill out a form and return it to Mrs. Sterenberg in room 332 so that you can earn credit.

Q: How can I become a tutor?

A: Applications will be made avaliable to all students at the end of April.

Q: How often will I work?

A: Usually tutors work 2 or 3 days a week for about an 60 to 90 minutes.

Nurse's Office

Q: I am a parent or guardian. What do I do if my student is sick and will not be attending school for the day?

A: If a student is sick and will not be attending school for the day, the attendance office should be notified. Please call 847-692-8321 and let them know your student's name and ID number.

Q: I am a parent or guardian. What do I do if my student will be out of school for an extended period of time?

A: If a student will be absent for an extended period of time the student’s counselor, the attendance office, and the Health Office should be notified.

Q: I am a student. What happens if I become ill or injured during the school day?

A: Students who become ill or injured during the school day should report to the Health Office after obtaining a pass from the teacher whose class they will be missing. The nurses will assess the student and if necessary will call the student’s parent. Students should not contact their parents from other locations using their cell phones. Cell phone use during the school day is prohibited.
