Welcome to the Maine East iTech Page

iTech is a professional learning community program that provides teachers and administrators with high-quality "just in time" professional development opportunities and hands-on practice and development time. The goals of the program are to:

Goals:
  • to assist teachers in infusing technology into the curriculum for the purpose of engaging and enhancing student learning
  • to build core groups of teacher trainers to assist other department members in integrating technology into their classes
  • to provide teachers with a collaborative professional learning community focused on the seamless integration of technology into content area curriculums to increase student learning
  • to explore new technologies that could be used in a classroom setting to enhance student learning
